Week #32 - Fontana (Sierra Ward), San Bernardino, CA Mission
Hey everyone,
So this week I got a new companion. His name is Elder Squires and I'll
be training him for the next transfer. He's adjusting to missionary life very
well and is excited to do the work. We've been doing our best to talk to
everyone and we've had a few successes.
One miracle that happened this week was that we contacted an hermana
that we had met on the street. When we passed by her house, her and her husband
warmly welcomed us in and were very receptive to our message. We hope that they
will continue to receive us.
We also were able to visit a friend that we hadn't seen in a while and
he was very happy to see us. We gave him a priesthood blessing and he felt the
spirit powerfully. After that, he said, "You have a lot of power in your
church." In my head I thought, "You're right. We have the power of
God." It was so amazing to see that power in action.
We also got a couple of new people from the Alder Elders because they
speak Spanish so we have had a pretty good week so far. I hope next week will
be even better.
Love you all,
Elder Green
