Week #3 - Salton City - San Bernardino, CA Mission

Hey everyone,

So to start off,  there have been a lot of earthquakes here. The epicenter of those earthquakes have been I think one- hundred or so miles from here,  but me and my companions haven't felt a single one. Some of the ward members have felt them,  but we haven't.
This week I got to meet the new mission president, his wife,  and their youngest children.  They're a pretty cool family and were pretty friendly. They've made a new mission Facebook page: California San Bernardino Mission 2019-2022 - President McKinnon

We've also had a few miracles this week. For the first time in the transfer, we have had a person come to sacrament meeting! She liked it and has accepted a baptismal date so we're pretty happy. Also, we had a special experience. While driving away from a street, Elder Nunes told my companions to turn the car around and head to a house where a woman was sitting outside of her house. When we came up to her and started talking to her, we found out that she had been going through a lot in her life and wanted to come closer to God. It was a great lesson and in her prayer she gave thanks to God for sending three of his disciples to help here as we closed our lesson. We have continued to meet with her and she is progressing!
Well that's all for this week!

Love you guys,

Elder Green
