Week #34 - Fontana (Sierra Ward) San Bernardino, CA Mission
Hey everyone!
Wow! Another week has come and gone. There is still a lot of work to be done here. This week was good for the first few days. We were able to get in contact with someone that had been hard to find which was cool. He was pretty nice and even invited us to go fishing at the beach with him. We said we would love to but couldn't because the beach was outside of our mission boundaries.
We also had a great zone conference. During the zone conference President McKinnon said something that was very profound. He asked that for the bicentennial general conference we prepare to receive personal revelation. He said that he believed that at least one of the things that will make the next general conference will be the personal revelation we receive.
We also had some cold and windy nights this week. I'm hoping the wind dies down because it makes it harder to bike.
One miracle that we had was that last night it was really cold and windy. It was also dark and we were trying to get a member appointment, but no one seemed to be home. I was about to say let's go home, report, and try to connect with people online, but I felt inspired to stop by one more member family. We had a great visit and received a ton of referrals from this family. They even gave us a ride home. That was a miracle in and of itself because the battery on his truck was supposedly dead. The Lord provides. What need I say more?
Love you lots!
